I've been thinking about recording a solo album for a long time. I've been in quite a few bands, but over the years, friends start families, move away, things get complicated. I've always composed with other musicians, sometimes I've composed songs on my own, but this is the first time I'm creating a solo album cover-to-cover. I didn't do this project for fame or money, but simply to prove to myself that I could do it, that I had it in me to create and finish such a project.

 

From the writing of the music to the lyrics, musical arrangements, editing, mastering, and finally creating the cover art, I wanted to do have a hand in everything. In the end, I still used Isanielle's talent to add a little color to the album. The result is a profoundly personal project.
